Welcome to KB Motor Works

Aaron Brand is the owner and operator of KB Motor Works LLC, an independent BMW specialty shop proudly serving drivers in Hartselle, Alabama. Since 2012, he has dedicated his career to the repair, maintenance, and diagnostics of BMW vehicles, building a reputation for precision, honesty, and exceptional technical expertise.

A graduate of the NASCAR Technical Institute, Aaron began his career with a strong technical foundation and gained valuable experience building high-performance marine engines for Ilmor Marine. Combined with more than a decade of hands-on BMW training and experience, this background has shaped his commitment to delivering accurate diagnostics, quality repairs, and continually expanding his knowledge as automotive technology evolves.

Aaron has earned several respected industry credentials, including BMW High Voltage Diagnostic Specialist, ASE Master Automotive Technician, and BMW Master Elite Technician. His expertise has also been recognized on a national level. In both 2023 and 2024, he ranked among the Top 96 BMW diagnostic technicians in the United States and was one of only 24 technicians in the Southern Region selected to compete in BMW's prestigious Diagnostic Technician of the Year competition.

Beyond the shop, Aaron is a devoted husband and father to three sons—Maverick, Macklin, and Pierce. He and his wife, Kayla, have been married for nine years. The decision to establish KB Motor Works was driven not only by a passion for BMW repair but also by a desire to build a business close to home, allowing him to spend more time with his family while serving the community he calls home. When he's away from the shop, Aaron enjoys spending quality time with his family and occasionally playing a round of golf.

At KB Motor Works, Aaron believes every BMW deserves the highest level of care. Every vehicle is treated with the same attention and respect he would give his own, with no shortcuts, unnecessary upselling, or guesswork—only expert diagnostics, meticulous repairs, and transparent communication from beginning to end.
